In an effort to digitalize the health records of HIMS by Ministry of Health and Population, Anweshan is working to develop Electronic Health Record (EHR) software. EHR software aims to improve the acuracy and quality of health records in clinical institutions through digitalization.

In the past, Ministry of Health have initiated EHR systems at the different level of health facilities in district hospital of Achham, Dolakha and Nuwakot. The new customized version of EHR will be used in Health Post and Primary Health Care Center to make the recording procedures more efficient. It will help enhance the health care practitioners' access to a patients' healthcare information for the present and continuity of care of that patient allowing it to be shared by all health care practitioner. 

Anweshan recently completed the implementation guideline and training materials for the EHR system. The materials will help make health care practitioners acquainted with the EHR system and can also serve as a manual for target users with the easy demonstration of the EHR system flow.
