As a part of support to the Government of Nepal, Anweshan as a consulting team provides service in the development of Routine Data Quality Assessment (RDQA) tool to the web-based format on behalf of GiZ. This tool is expected to be used by the health personnel of the health facilities at the Palika level and Municipal level.

With the realization of the need in creating responsive Healthcare system, GiZ has been commending MoH to collect, maintain, analyze and disseminate all the service related data from the health system through Health Management Information System (HMIS). The drawbacks are felt at the time of manual and paper-based reporting in HMIS or LMIS led to the need for the development and adoption of RDQA tool which would calculate the quality metrics and identify potential issues related to data quality.

Therefore, Anweshan has developed the RDQA tool as an open-source tool in the health care system for use to maintain transparency and accountability of the health service data under S2HSP of Government of Nepal.
