Anweshan Private Limited successfully completed a baseline survey for the Feminist Dalit Organisation, Nepal (FEDO). It was for FEDO’s upcoming 2018-20 project and was conducted in Dang and Bardiya. 

Anweshan supported this program by collecting household information on various aspects of their livelihoods including economic, social, cultural and political issues. The sample size was 614 households selected through Simple Random Sampling from the sampling frame provided by the district coordinator and social mobilizers of the respective district. Data collection began in Bardiya from October 9 and in Dang from October 10. The survey also calculated International Wealth Index as a key finding of the survey in the areas including Badaiyataal Rural Municipality; Gulariya Municipality in Bardiya and Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan; Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan and Dangisharan Rural Municipality in Dang and was found to be 37.
