Hand-in-Hand: Involving physician, nurse and pharmacist and engaging community to encourage rational use of antibiotics and improve patient outcome We have secured grant from Pfizer through its global grant competition to run Antimicrobial Stewardship Project in outpatient settings in two hospitals of Nepal along with a nationwide survey of antimicrobial use using mystery client surveys. The study is being run in Sukraraj Tropical & Infectious Disease Hospital and Ilam Hospital since 2022

Anweshan worked on this project from January 2023 to June 2023 and supported field supervision and trainings essential to create a map of the currently available ARH/FP services for municipality and for the USAID ARH project . The overall objective of this project was to identify gaps and track changes over the life of project for each municipality and inform USAID ARH/QI initial strategies and priorities to improve quality of and access to ARH services.

Bournemouth University

This study was conducted by Anweshan in partnership with Bournemouth University, with the aim of assessing the effectiveness of health-related components integrated within predeparture orientation training for aspiring Nepali migrants. The research encompassed a comprehensive investigative approach, employing Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and In-Depth Interviews (IDI) as methods of inquiry with individuals who have intentions of migrating.

Save The Children

The objective of conducting this program was to create a comprehensive assessment of the prevailing legal framework governing the execution of health insurance programs in Nepal. The endeavor also encompassed an in-depth exploration of the policy-related obstacles connected to these programs

Wateraid

This project aimed to assess hygiene behaviors and their underlying factors in the Lahan municipality. The main goal was to identify harmful hygiene practices and determine effective ways to encourage positive behavior changes.

IOM Nepal

MHMIS Technical Proposal: Upgrading and updating web based MHMIS system based on Standard Operating Procedure of Pre- Departure Health Assessment including the Annual Maintenance Contract Baseline study on cross border migration. Migration Action Plan: Coordinated with IOM and MoHP to support in drafting a five year National Migration Plan of Nepal.
