• Conducting FGD & SSI: EN-SMILING Pilot Study 

Focus Group Discussion was carried out among five respondents (mothers/caregivers) along with Semi-Structured Interviews with two of the assessors. An analytical report was then prepared for the pilot study which is expected to meet the objective of the overall study i.e. to gain insight on early child development and customize the app for its data quality. 

• Process evaluation on the use of Advanced NeoNatalie by health workers in WRH, Pokhara

In-depth interviews were conducted among eight female health workers from Western Regional Hospital in Pokhara who were trained to use Advanced Neo-Natalie equipment. Process evaluation was also carried out applying MRC framework in which the objective was to 1) explore the applicability of vertical bag-and-mask among health workers who have been using horizontal bag-and-mask  2) understand the usability and safety of Advanced Neo-Natalie  3) explore the ergonomics of Advanced Neo-Natalie among others

Collected data were transcribed and translated after sampling and data saturation were undertaken. Subsequently, hybrid coding and evaluation report were maintained to help scrutinize the recurrence of certain ideas and issues in the dataset.

• Decipherable Data Construction for Qualitative Study 

Series of transcriptions which were based on qualitative interviews regarding L & D observer were translated.
