Anweshan has worked with wide range of clients in development research, IT and communications.
Anweshan prepared a report entitled "Respond and Beyond: The Road to Resilience" for Ministry of Health, Government of Nepal in 2016 A.D. The report illustrates how the health sectors dealt with the aftermath of Nepal Earthquake in 2015. It reviews the response status by health sectors along with the evaluation of various domains closely connected to determine the actions forwarded by these health sectors. The report offers as a resource for our policymakers, researchers, academicians and Ministry of Health thereby assisting in the development planning.
Anweshan developed a photo story book “Earthquake 2015: Health Sector Response and Lessons” for Government of Nepal. The photo story developed provides a much needed contribution to institutional memory representing what needed to be replicated and what to be improvised. This book was a medium for revisiting and documenting response and recovery work over the past years.
A one-day workshop on “HMIS e-Reporting Trainings: Experience & Learning and Open Data and its potential for Nepal” was organized by Anweshan with the support from GiZ and the Ministry of Health. It was conducted in Hotel Himalaya at Jwagal, Lalitpur on 15th March 2018, with delegates from different health departments and the district health offices of Bhaktapur, Lalitpur and Kathmandu.
Anweshan developed an introductory 2D animation videodescription overarching the concept behind RDQA tool, its uses and advantages it provides. We were able to deliver a step-by-step video tutorial for using the tool. A dynamic user manual based on open source as MediaWiki was developed incorporating all the aspects of RDQA tool’s usability.
In an effort to digitalize the health records of HIMS by Ministry of Health and Population, Anweshan developed Electronic Health Record (EHR) software. EHR software aims to improve the acuracy and quality of health records in clinical institutions through digitalization.
