Welcome

Anweshan is a leading public health consulting and research firm based in Nepal, built at the intersection of data, systems, and strategy. Over the past decade, we have grown into a trusted partner for governments, development agencies, and global institutions — delivering cutting-edge work across clinical research, health systems evaluation, policy advisory, and social and behavioural studies.

We operate as both a Clinical Research Organization (CRO) and a multi-sectoral evidence and policy think tank. Our clinical research wing manages end-to-end support for trials and biomedical studies — from NHRC and DDA regulatory clearances to GCP-compliant site operations, participant monitoring, and data integrity. We support both community-based and facility-linked trials, combining scientific rigour with deep local knowledge.

Beyond clinical trials, Anweshan has shaped national dialogues on immunisation, maternal health, nutrition, health financing, antimicrobial resistance, and health security. Our expertise lies in Q-squared research, policy design, health information systems analysis, and Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL). We conduct primary and secondary research using mixed-method approaches, and we embed learning systems that make programmes more adaptive and accountable.

We also bring expertise in political economy analysis, social and behavioural research, and community-centred inquiry — revealing the hidden drivers behind health behaviours and systems performance. Through our sister firm, GraFX International, we complement evidence with powerful visuals and data storytelling, ensuring that insights do not remain buried in reports but lead to informed action.

Anweshan is not just a service provider — we are a thought partner. We’re proud to support over 20+ development agencies and government bodies across more than 100 projects. At our core is a commitment to clarity, ethics, and impact — ensuring that every decision in public health is backed by evidence that matters.
