Dr. Niraj Poudyal is assciated with Anweshan since 2017 as senior research advisor. Dr. Poudyal had done his doctoral degree in economics with econometrics specialization from Virginia Tech, USA. As an econometrician and a modeller, he fully understands the role of bi-directional evidence (data) based policy actions. His experience of working with the development partners such as UNICEF headquarter team (Education section), World Bank and the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Department of Education (DoE) to develop equity index and support EMIS is an added advantage. He has led multiple research projects of Anweshan too. His major involvement at Anweshan has been in Evaluation study (Baseline and Endline survey) of BBC Media Action.
